About TAG Precision

Tag Precision is a newer brand that has reimagined the thought behind Fiber Optic sights. While TAG may be new, our machine shop certainly isn't. Our shop has been producing sights for other companies for 19 years. In 2022, we decided to create our own brand and launched the most durable fiber optic sights in the industry.

We have figured out how to solve most the normal problems that you encounter such as breakage, discoloration, thermal shift (Sight droop / sag). This is done with our patented FiberLok technology and a different style of Fiber Optic material. Our fiber is less affected by heat, more resistant to breaking / discoloration due to impact, and is affected far less by chemicals. This solves a lot of the issues with the industry standard melted fibers that we are all used to.

For a quick note on durability. We have a competitive shooter that has fired between 25,000 and 30,000 rounds with our FiberLok front sight. During this time, he has had no discoloration, droop in fiber, loss of fiber, or breakage!
